AISTS INDIA is JSW Sports’s exclusive sports education partner, and this collaboration gives participants a chance to visit IIS, provides access to their senior management across teams as well as internships and full time placement opportunities.
The participants of AISTS INDIA had the privilege of spending a week at one of India’s premium high performance facilities, The Inspire Institute of Sport.
Dr. Boris Gojanovic, MD, Professor at AISTS, Lausanne and Head of Health & Performance at Olympic Medical Center & President of Sport & Exercise Medicine, Switzerland was present at the Academy during the entire visit. He led the Sports Medicine module covering topics such as Managing Health , Managing Physical Injury and Illness and CPR & being exposed to interactive learning at the Facilities.
Additionally, some industry sessions were delivered by Mr. Rushdee Warley, CEO, Mr. Tathagata Mukherjee, COO & Dr. Samuel A. Pullinger, PhD, CSci, Head of Sport Science. This gave the cohort in-depth understanding of operations and processes behind the scenes of nurturing athletes. The participants of the programme observed up close how high performance athletes trained for state, national and international competitions. They got an opportunity to spend time with the Data Analyst, Team Manager and players of Haryana Steelers to understand the preparation for on and off field performance.
