AISTS REPRESENTS AT LAUSANNE MARATHON

AISTS represents at the Lausanne Marathon

AISTS’ class of 2020 was out in force at the Lausanne Marathon, with 14 participants from this year’s Sports Management Master’s Program taking part in distances including the 10k run, 10k walk, and the 21k run.

The Lausanne Marathon is one of the biggest events in Lausanne’s sporting calendar and attracts thousands of runners (and walkers), alongside thousands of fans who cheer from the sidelines.

A big well done to Emilio Valdes Legaspi, who ran AISTS’ fastest time at an incredible 38.25. Athlete scholarship winner – and Olympic racewalker – Marc Mundell even set the record for the fastest ever 10k walk with a time of just 48.27.

Congratulations to everyone in class of 2020 who took part (and all of the AISTS’ alumni we spotted taking part too):

Experience the world of sport in the Olympic Capital

Participants attend several full-day workshops throughout the programme to experience sport. These sessions are delivered by the sport organisations and federations themselves and provide a unique hands-on experience and well as an ideal opportunity to connect to our alumni and experts working in the industry.
