Contributing to the growth of sport while developing your self-leadership
“Sport has the power to change the world. It has the power to inspire. It has the power to unite people in a way that little else does.” – Nelson Mandela.
Sport can contribute to a better society in many ways, for example, by bridging different cultures, by bringing together international audience to events, or by contributing to a healthier world thanks to the development of sport accessibility everywhere.
Sport managers share this responsibility. Their leadership strength is critical not only to their successful career development, but also as the driving force at all levels within their organization, including in roles such as project managers, department heads, CEOs, or innovation entrepreneurs.
Starting this September, the AISTS Master programme will include a course entitled “Developing Leaders in Sport”. This course will be hosted at IMD with IMD Professor Jennifer Jordan, each year in September.
