This two‑day programme introduces participants to the physical principles and material properties underpinning sport equipment design. Drawing on the physics of sport, the course explores how materials are selected, engineered and tested for performance and safety.
Participants gain a structured understanding of material development through theoretical foundations, laboratory insight and industry perspectives. The programme connects research with real‑world applications, highlighting balanced and responsible innovation.
