SEMOS™ OPEN MODULES – LEARN FROM THE BEST

SEMOS™ OPEN MODULES – LEARN FROM THE BEST

Sharpen your skills and build your event management knowledge with the AISTS SEMOS™ and SEMOS™ Plus Open Modules this October.

The AISTS SEMOS™ (Sport Event Management & Organisation Open Module) offers industry professionals a week-long immersion in the core functions of managing sport mega-events such as World Championships and Continental and Olympic Games.

The two event management and organisation open modules provide an opportunity to reinforce and validate the day-to-day work process, fill in missing knowledge gaps and uncover the latest trends in sport management to help deliver major events that meet stakeholder demands – from athletes, spectators, media and sponsors.

This years newly revised SEMOS™ Open Modules are being led by Ms Andera Marcellini – Venue General Manager at the recent  2016 Rio Olympic Games.  With over 10 years of experience working in sport and 7 years of working in international sports organisations, Andrea has experience in managing large scale events and teams and specialises in project management and communications.  She will also be lecturing throughout the week, providing participants with hands on learning through numerous operational readiness exercises and managing the modules.

SEMOS™ – Monday the 16th of October to Friday the 20th of October, 2017

The SEMOS™ Plus also returns, after being first launched in 2015. The various sessions gives participants the flexibility to pick and choose 2/3 hour sessions with a sport event management focus.

There are eight different sessions to choose from on topics such as anti-doping, media & press operations, knowledge management, ticketing and spectator experience – all in relation to their role in sport events.

Speakers include industry leaders and consultants from the IOC, National Olympic Committees, Baku 2015, British Ski and Snowboard team and more.
