According to the International Esports Federation IESF, the active Esports community already numbered over 200 million enthusiasts in 2019. A revenue of over 1 billion USD was registered, with a strong continued upward trend.

In a recent presentation by the IOC on its Agenda 2020 +5, the IOC expressed determination to rejuvenate its audience with a high focus on a more digital targeted audience. Meaning that virtual sports will be considered in the Olympic program in a form yet to be defined. 

Time to take a closer look at this business and listen to its key players. The Webinar introduction will be made by IESF’s President Vlad Marinescu, who will later be joined by Henning Christiansson, Global Category Manager Esports & Pro Series at Logitech, Hennings presentation will focus on commercializing esports partnerships. Our open session will be concluded by Manuel Ezberci, eFootball Competitions & Events Manager at FIFA, who will share insights into FIFA’s Esports initiatives.

The hour-long session will be conducted in English and will include an opportunity for questions from the audience.
