AISTS WELCOMES STUDENTS FROM BiMBA BUSINESS SCHOOL
The AISTS was very happy to welcome students from BiMBA Business School from Peking University to Lausanne. The students visited AISTS for a four day Olympic Capital Course last week.
The course is tailor-made for the BiMBA students and it entailed various lectures by experts from the field and field trips. It has a special focus on the role of China in the Olympic Movement and the future of sports.
We kicked off the course on Monday with a full program of lectures about Lausanne the Olympic Capital and ended the day with a visit to the Olympic Museum. Day two was dedicated to learning about The Olympic Movement and included speakers like AISTS Alumni Karen Dolphin from IOC, the AISTS Executive Director Claude Stricker and we even had the visit from one of our Olympian AISTS Alumni, Anne-Sophie Thilo. The third day was full of lectures dedicated to Sport Event Management including one from Rodrigo Garcia, Head of Games Delivery at IOC, and finished with an initiation to archery at the World Archery International Federation. The last day was a visit to the International Equestrian Federation (FEI) where the students got to experience the environment of an International Sports Federation.
The AISTS offers tailored educational programs delivered in-house and at our campus.
