AISTS RANKED NO.1 PROGRAMME IN SPORTS MANAGEMENT FOR THE SECOND CONSECUTIVE YEAR

AISTS RANKED NO.1 PROGRAMME IN SPORTS MANAGEMENT FOR THE SECOND CONSECUTIVE YEAR

The AISTS Master of Advanced Studies in Sport Administration and Technology has had the number one Sports Management programme in the world since 2015.

The Eduniversal annual ranking of the Top 50 Masters in Sports Management was announced last week, and in a league of 50 sports management programmes from over 17 different countries, the AISTS MAS in Sport Administration topped the ranking for the second time, securing a top three position for the fifth consecutive year.

The AISTS MAS in Sport Administration is a Master of Advanced Studies, a post-graduate degree, and is co-signed by the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), the University of Lausanne (UNIL) and the University of Geneva (UNIGE), all of which are top ranked universities worldwide.  This year provided a fresh change with the commencement of our new academic calendar, running now from the end of September to December of the following year.  This new schedule has students in the class for nine months now, as well as having two months of work experience in the sports industry, and the rest of the time spent on their team project and research paper.  And in 2018, the AISTS will move to a new home: the soon to be completed Synathlon building which will also host the headquarters of the International University Sports Federation (FISU), the Institute of Sports Sciences of the University of Lausanne (ISSUL) and ThinkSport.

Eduniversal is a tool offering a universal insight on the world of education and provides in-depth views and expertise to individuals on the best global educational opportunities.  Their Evaluation System ranks each programme by the following 3 major areas:

  • The reputation of the programme, based on the opinion of surveyed HR professionals.
  • The career prospects and the salary level of the first employment of newly-graduated students based on information provided by the schools.
  • The satisfaction feedback of the graduating students based on survey results

The Eduniversal Best Masters Ranking is the only ranking which evaluates the programmes and not the institutions, and can be considered today as a true assessment criterion, which allows students to refine the choice of their future education.

Quote from Claude Stricker, Executive Director, AISTS

“We are once again very honoured to receive this award.  We are continually striving to further develop our programme so as to produce the best possible sports professionals.  I believe one of our main assets is the hands on learning our participants get whilst working on real projects provided from the IOC, international sport federations and the sports industry.”

Final applications for the AISTS Master of Advanced Studies in Sport Administration and Technology class of 2018 are closing soon. We are also welcoming applications from current and former international athletes for the AISTS Athlete Scholarship at this time as well.  The scholarship has a value of CHF 14,000, which will fund half of the tuition fee of the AISTS Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) programme, endorsed by the International Olympic Committee, which aims to develop the next generation of leaders in sport.  Click https://aists.org/education/master-in-sport-management/admissions/”>here for the online application form and for further details on the AISTS Athlete Scholarship.
