The 8th episode of the monthly series of the AISTS Alumni Talks will take place on Wednesday, March 17th at 18h00 CET.

The topic of the webinar is Sport Innovation. The 3 guests, one from the AISTS Alumni ranks, will provide an overview of sport innovation ecosystems, strategic innovation, digital transformation and disruptive initiatives in the sport industry.

Meet the Specialists

Anna Hellman, Director at ThinkSport

She has been an integral part of the international sports movement for most of her professional career. She launched, managed, and currently serves as Director for ThinkSport, founded by the City of Lausanne, Canton de Vaud and the International Olympic Committee. She was Executive Director for SportAccord Convention for 9 years and has also worked for Além International, an experienced marketing and event management agency specializing in sport and corporate events, with offices in several regions of the world. She was COO of The World Sports Forum for four years, organizing all aspects of the annual event in St Moritz, Lausanne and Doha/Qatar. Previously, she served as Developmental Project Manager for IKEA, part-owner and General Manager of the Hotel Farinet in Verbier, Switzerland, and had a role in the development of RECCO International, where she introduced and built up avalanche rescue systems in Switzerland, France and Italy.

Hisham Shehabi, OLY, Co-founder and COO at N3XT SPORTS, AISTS MAS 2014

Born in Bahrain, Hisham is shaping the future role of sports organizations in the Olympic industry, by accelerating their transformation and modernization, and leverage trends in technology, innovation, and investments. Having competed at the Olympic Games, his Olympic journey continued at the International Olympic Committee where he led topics related to future trends in sports. As co-founder and Chief Operating Officer at N3XT Sports, he distributes his time between Olympic client relations, partnerships, and emerging markets, with a particular focus on Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa.

Jean-Baptiste Alliot, Innovation Strategy at UEFA

Jean-Baptiste has worked in the sport industry for the past 10 years across multiple positions which lead him to drive the innovation strategy within UEFA and set up the UEFA Innovation Hub. He is in charge of defining and implementing the innovation strategy at UEFA to support the organisation in achieving the recently approved UEFA corporate strategy 2019-2024, in close cooperation with the newly created UEFA Intelligence Centre. Among his new responsibilities as chief strategy officer at LaSource, he is now in charge of supporting sports organisations in leveraging innovation, strategic collaborations and partnerships with startups.
