2018 CLIENT TEAM PROJECTS HAVE BEEN ANNOUNCED

This week was the announcement of the AISTS Client Team Projects for the class of 2018 and we have a strong line up of international federations for our participants.

AISTS Client Team Projects run from the middle of November until the end of June and are performed by groups of 4 – 6 participants on a real topic for a real client. The goal of AISTS Client Team Projects is to provide a high-quality project resource to sport organisations by proposing new ideas and feasible solutions that are relevant in a practical context. This year’s clients include the International Olympic Committee (IOC), European Athletics, the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF), the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) and the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA).

Topics to be addressed for this year’s Client Team Projects are:

  • Sport Development
  • Communications strategies
  • Global governance
  • Education
  • Climate change and sports events
  • Sports Technology

Each group now has eight months to produce their final product – a written report and team presentation.  Delivery of the written report to the client is due in June along with the team presentation at the MSI to the AISTS MAS in Sport Administration Evaluation Jury and to the client.  It is a challenge that has been undertaken by over 130 other AISTS teams and this year’s class is definitely up to the challenge with participants coming from strong professional backgrounds in Science, Business Administration, Communications and Journalism.

We are once again expecting top quality projects that will provide quality research, innovative new ideas and creative solutions for this year’s clients.  The final team presentations will occur at the Maison du Sport on the 27th and 28th of June, 2017.
