The average age of our AISTS Master in Sport Management participants is between 27–30 years old, but that does not mean that most participants are of that age. We have no strict age limits for candidates, and each application is reviewed on a case-by-case basis. The primary concern with being on the younger side (20–22 years old) is typically associated with limited professional experience. However, the AISTS programme has made exceptions in the past and accepted younger candidates, provided they demonstrate strong potential in other areas. Ultimately, it’s about balancing all the admission requirements. If your application shows strengths in areas such as academics, motivation, or sports involvement, your age may not be seen as a disadvantage. The AISTS Master in Sport Management Scientific Committee, responsible for the selection process, evaluates multiple factors equally: professional experience, academic background, motivation, involvement in sport, age (e.g., not too young), nationality (to ensure diversity in the cohort), and fluency in English.
The AISTS MAS in Sport Management & Technology is truly an international programme. The class counts each year over 20 different nationalities from all 5 continents for approximately 35 participants. The requirements are the same for all participants, regardless of the nationality or country of origin.
Applicants to the AISTS MAS in Sport Management must submit English language exam results (either Duolingo, TOEFL or IELTS) when applying for the AISTS MAS in Sport Management to prove English fluency (written & oral). Candidates must be fluent in written & oral English to participate in the programme. All classes, coursework, and presentations will be in English.
