AISTS SEMOS™ ASIA – SPORTS EVENT MANAGEMENT AND ORGANISATION SEMINAR (5 DAYS)
Please note that the first-ever SEMOS Asia has been delayed due to popular request from those wanting to attend, but who are currently engaged with the South East Asian Games which are also being held in November.
As the first-ever SEMOS Asia, we want it to be the best possible event for everyone who attends. Delaying it means that more people can join us, leading to better networking and learning opportunities for all.
The exact date for SEMOS Asia will be announced soon, but provisionally it is being planned for end of February 2020. If you would like to be notified of the new date please let us know here.
Since 2001, the AISTS has been organising SEMOS™ – Sport Event Management and Organisation Seminar. The AISTS SEMOS™ Open Module offers an overview of the key tasks that sports managers need to successfully plan, communicate and operate when organising sport events, providing a 360° view and behind the scenes look at the mechanics of sport events.
Bringing together leaders of International Sport Federations and other experts of the AISTS network, including the International Olympic Committee and sport event organisers, AISTS SEMOS™ is both pertinent and practical and recognises the increased expectations of spectators, media and sponsors at major events.
For five full days of learning and networking:
Early bird (book before 16th September) SGD $ 2,000
Full price SGD $ 2,200
*Please note the price is in Singapore Dollars
For AISTS alumni/group/International Federation and NOC discounts, or if you have any questions, please contact Marine Chevallier on email@example.com
The five-day program will include 15+ sessions from experts from across every aspect of the sports event sector. From ticketing to security and sponsorship to media, SEMOS™ guarantees the highest caliber of speakers.
Confirmed speakers so far include:
Marcel Van De Goor, Red Bull Netherlands national event manager, says: “At Red Bull, we already do cool stuff, but thanks to SEMOS I discovered how we can make our events even better, more efficient, more impactful and with a real reason behind them. Next to that, my network became much bigger and even a year after SEMOS it is still bringing benefits. If you want to learn more about the variety of events and all the different disciplines (from hospitality, ticket sales, operations, partnerships etc) I would highly recommend SEMOS. The list of speakers is of such a high level, you can’t wish for anything more.”
Oliver Stamm, Olympic Beach Volleyball player and sports management consultant, attended SEMOS 2018. He says: “It’s impossible to learn and hear so much in just one week anywhere else in the world. The list of speakers and contacts is completely special, the classmates will remain friends for life, and the experts are the best out there. You literally cannot pack more knowledge, experience, or learnings in one week. Absolutely impossible. And even breaks and evenings are filled with yet more international learnings. If you want to capitalise on your passion for sports, SEMOS will be your trampoline to a great career.”
