APPLICATIONS FOR THE CLASS OF 2021 ARE OFFICIALLY OPEN

Are you passionate about the world of sport? The AISTS MAS in Sport Administration is the world’s number one ranked post-graduate program in Sports Management. Applications for the class of 2021 are now officially open.

Starting in September 2020, this will be the 18th edition of the program, which has been ranked number one by EdUiversal for the past four years. The program is ideal for those with university-level qualifications and a true, demonstratable passion and previous experience in sport.

The AISTS MAS is no ordinary masters. Over 15 months, our unique program offers you a multi-disciplinary and practical approach to sports administration and brings together over 100 international experts in the fields of management, technology, law, medicine and sociology.

We also regularly welcome guest speakers from the international world of sports to share their insights, inspiration, and experience.

Graduates from the AISTS go on to work in prestigious sports careers across the globe in sectors as diverse as anti-doping, athlete development, hosting, communications, sponsorship, sustainability, and event management.

Our alumni become the future leaders of sport

Benjamin Cohen graduated in the class of 2008. He is now director general of the International Testing Agency (ITA). Speaking of his time at AISTS, he says: “The AISTS offers a one-of-a-kind platform to meet top sport officials and exchange with them on the latest developments affecting sport. I truly recommend this program to anyone wishing to step into international sport administration. In addition to a masters degree, the program offered me lifelong friends from all over the world and a unique network of alumni.”

Chantal Buchser graduated from the AISTS MAS in 2011. She is now a senior project manager in the sports department at the International Olympic Committee. She says: “The experience was incredible. I left the program with a solid foundation of knowledge which prepared me to jump right in and actively contribute to this dynamic and ever-evolving industry.”

The AISTS MAS application process and scholarship

The AISTS MAS applications are open from the 1st September 2019. To find out more about requirements and how to apply, click here.

We offer two scholarships. The Athlete Scholarship, which covers 50% of the tuition fee, is available to current or former athletes who have competed at international levels and wish to migrate into a career in sport administration. Selection for the Athlete Scholarship happens after the 3rd application deadline (1st May 2020).

The Future Female Leader in Sport Scholarship also covers 50% of the tuition fee and is awarded to a female applicant who best demonstrates her commitment to ethical sport leadership. Selection for The Future Female Leader in Sport Scholarship happens after the 2nd application deadline (1st February 2020).

Experience the world of sport in the Olympic Capital

Participants attend several full-day workshops throughout the programme to experience sport. These sessions are delivered by the sport organisations and federations themselves and provide a unique hands-on experience and well as an ideal opportunity to connect to our alumni and experts working in the industry.
