ONLINE SEMINAR: WHAT DOES THE FUTURE HOLD FOR MAJOR SPORTING EVENTS?

On Thursday 18th June, the AISTS welcomed Stacey Knight, commercial director at CSM Live who discussed the futuristic branding of major sports events in a post-COVID-19 world.

The session looked at the unprecedented events of the last few months and how they have changed the method by which sport creates touchpoints with its fans.

The seminar was part of the AISTS class of 2020 Master of Advanced Studies of Sports Administration and Technology. Applications for the program starting this September are still open.

Stacey Knight, CSM Live

Stacey is the Commercial Director of global sport and entertainment agency CSM Live, where she utilises her vast experience to create live events, helping propel brands and sport into the public consciousness.

Throughout her career, Stacey has been at the forefront of creating several global, award-winning, multi-platform campaigns such as Jurassic World Waterloo, Ghostbusters Waterloo, Stella Artois VR experience, Skoda AR, Fast & Furious 8 tour and the Audi data dashboard.

In 2017 Stacey became a non-executive Director for the Rugby League World Cup 2021, helping to construct and implement one of the greatest and most exciting tournaments to grace the UK’s shores. She also has a wealth of experience in the media industry  (IPC Media), in outdoor (CBS Outdoor & JCDecaux), online (IGN Entertainment), and experiential (JCDecaux).

Participants attend several full-day workshops throughout the programme to experience sport. These sessions are delivered by the sport organisations and federations themselves and provide a unique hands-on experience and well as an ideal opportunity to connect to our alumni and experts working in the industry.
