HUMANS OF AISTS

MAS2021 | Ep08 | Ludovica Massa

Sport means “life” to me.

Whilst growing up, sport was an integral part of my life thanks to my family. My most important lesson from sport is that everyone has equal chances to achieve goals set through effort and hard work.

At the age of 4, I started with athletics and swimming and at 11 years old I discovered triathlon and began training for it. In 2018, my Ironman career had an emotional journey that has formed my identity and strong personality. Ironman is a metaphor for life; it spurs you to overcome difficulties and puts your abilities to the test. Ironman made me realize that it’s all in our head and that we are much stronger than we think.

After graduating with a degree in business and finance together with competing in many races, I decided to combine my two biggest passions. Graduating with a degree in Sport Management from AISTS which is an amazing experience and offers me the opportunity to meet many people and learn a lot.

Sport will always be a constant in my life! I endeavour to learn to allot from this Master and give to the world of sport what it has so graciously given me all these years.
