AISTS LAUNCHES IN INDIA
AISTS is proud to launch 2 new programs in India beginning 1st March 2021. This program aims to increase sport awareness and develop Indian students to work in the local and international sport industry. With this program we aim to produce local leaders who develop sport programs in India.
Lausanne, Switzerland, 1st March 2021 – Over the past twenty years the International Academy of Sport Science and Technology (AISTS) has delivered exceptional quality in the field of sports management. This not-for-profit, Switzerland based academy is located in Lausanne and is spearheaded by Dr Claude Stricker.
The AISTS Academy focuses on three vital pillars to ensure its success: education applied research and network in the sports environment. Each pillar is dependent on the previous this is because education is the foundation to success, it allows students to broaden their knowledge on topics they care about. Applied research allows students to apply the knowledge they have learnt to real life situations and master their art of trade and then go out in the world and network with organisations, investors and stakeholders.
From Masters degrees to short courses
The AISTS Academy boasts a variety of programs for students to choose from including masters degrees, short courses and tailored programs. Each program is intricately designed and encompasses the fundamentals of the three pillars to ensure students are prepared for any challenge. Together with the hundreds of dedicated lecturers, staff and alumni the AISTS Academy has positively contributed to the ever changing world of sport management as its courses ensure that students are able to adapt to any situation in order to deliver the best possible outcome. Hence, it is no surprise that enthusiastic sports students flock to the AISTS Academy from around the world. The Masters class generally averages between thirty five students from approximately twenty-three different nationalities.
Five of this year’s students hail from India and over the last twenty years, AISTS has hosted over 63 Indian participants, now part of our 575 Alumni. That is why the AISTS Academy is proud to announce its contract signing with India.
AISTS INDIA Academy
After much anticipation AISTS will launch its first academy in India on 1st March 2021. The launch will see the introduction of two programs: 2 months Post Graduate Certificate Program and a 45 day Executive Education Program. Both programs are set for face-to-face contact classes and online. The introduction of the AISTS Academy in India will enhance the lush and diverse range of sports that the country boasts.
With cricket being the main attraction for the country, students enrolled in any of the courses at the AISTS Academy will enjoy enriching their sporting heritage and will be able to take that knowledge into the vast world of sport and contribute to upcoming events such as the annual Indian Premier League (IPL), the 2022 Mens T20 and the 2023 Mens Hockey World Cup and Indian Super League which continues to grow exponentially. The opportunities are endless and will pave the way for a safer, stronger and more determined generation of sporting youth.
Despite the many challenges faced by the members of the AISTS Academy during Covid19, their dedication and years of experience have proven to be imperative to students during these trying times. It is through their passion and excellence that the field of sports management is able to grow and thrive. Which is why individuals and organisations are urged to enrol and interact with the AISTS Academy and their courses to ensure a better future for themselves and for the world of sport. The foundation laid by the AISTS Academy forms the basis for many successful individuals and organisations by ensuring that the students walking out their door are able to overcome every obstacle with ease.
