AISTS’ ONLINE CHAT WITH CHRISTOPHE DUBI – THE POSTPONEMENT OF THE OLYMPIC GAMES

  • Date: Thursday, May 28
  • Time: 2pm-3pm CET

Join the AISTS as we welcome Christophe Dubi, IOC’s Olympic Games Executive Director, for a live virtual online discussion regarding the postponement of the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020.

This session, which will be moderated by AISTS Alumni Tina Sharma, is open to everyone working in an International Sports Federation or Sports Organisation. It will provide a unique opportunity to hear from Christophe about the process behind the decision to postpone and the work being done by the IOC, the Organising Committee and the entire Olympic Community to reorganise for next year.

The hour-long session will be conducted in English and will include an opportunity for questions from the audience. Should you not be able to attend, a recording will be available on our website.

CHRISTOPHE DUBI, OLYMPIC GAMES EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, INTERNATIONAL OLYMPIC COMMITTEE

Since September 2014, Christophe Dubi is Olympic Games Executive Director. Working in collaboration with partners across the Olympic Movement, both internally and externally, the Olympic Games Department is in charge of managing and coordinating all activities related to the Olympic and Youth Olympic Games, from the candidature phase to the dissolution of the organising committees, in order to ensure they remain positioned as the world premier sporting events and leave long lasting legacy.

Experience the world of sport in the Olympic Capital

Participants attend several full-day workshops throughout the programme to experience sport. These sessions are delivered by the sport organisations and federations themselves and provide a unique hands-on experience and well as an ideal opportunity to connect to our alumni and experts working in the industry.
