AISTS RANKS FIRST PLACE IN WORLDWIDE SPORTS MANAGEMENT PROGRAMS

AISTS once again achieves First Place in Eduniversal’s 2021 ranking for worldwide Sports Management programs

The AISTS Master of Advanced Studies in Sport Administration and Technology has been voted No 1 Sports Management program internationally since 2015 by Eduniversal. It is an extraordinary win to successfully achieve this title in 2021 given the extreme challenges faced by the global education sector as a result of the pandemic.

The Eduniversal ranking agency establishes an official selection of the 1000 Best Business Schools in more than 150 countries. Within the Sport Management category, a total of 50 Master’s programs from 23 countries were evaluated.

The AISTS 15-month program was judged on the following three criteria (see the Eduniversal methodology):

  1. Reputation of the programme, based on the opinion of surveyed HR professionals.
  2. Career prospects and the salary level of the first employment of newly graduated students based on information provided by the schools.
  3. Satisfaction feedback of the graduating students based on survey results.

Since the introduction of the globally conducted Eduniversal Rankings in 2007, the AISTS Master of Advanced Studies in Sport Administration and Technology has claimed first place in the Sport Management category since 2015.

With the restrictions in the education sector triggered by the pandemic, educational institutes had to find new ways to keep the quality of teaching high and continuously motivate and engage students:

Claude Stricker, AISTS Executive Director

“The constantly changing constraints in the last 12 months required the highest flexibility from our dynamic team. Together with our large pool of highly adaptive professors and thanks to the diversity and richness of our entire network in the sport industry, we have managed to keep the teaching consistently at a high level. We could as well benefit from the modern infrastructure and latest digital communication technology of the academic founders of the program, the Universities of Lausanne and Geneva, and EPFL. AISTS’ greatest asset still remains our geographical and personal proximity to the sports world, thanks to our unique campus location in the heart of the Olympic capital Lausanne.”
