Alumni Event: Breakfast Session with Amaury Sport Organisation (ASO) Director of Marketing, Strategy and Business Development


The AISTS invites the aumni to join Amaury Sport Organisation (ASO) Director of Marketing, Strategy and Business Development, Mr Baptiste Kern in an exclusive breakfast workshop on Friday 12 February at the MSI.

This special event has been created especially for our alumni, giving you the opportunity to:

  • stimulate your thinking
  • interchange ideas
  • discover new points of views
  • thrash out the challenges you’re facing
  • learn from a leader in sports event strategy and marketing

The idea is that you get to determine the key 2-3 challenges you face to be discussed with Baptiste.

So, what’s on the table? What’s at stake? What’s mission critical? What’s got you baffled?

It’s your event. We’ll give you one hour and plenty of coffee and croissants to fuel your thinking.

Speakers

Baptiste Kern

After his graduation from HEC Paris business school, Baptiste specialized in international sports and events marketing. Baptiste started his career within the agency FastTrack in London, focusing on event sponsorship activation for major brands such as Rolex, Polo Ralph Lauren and Emirates. Baptiste then joined Amaury Sport Organisation (Tour de France, Dakar, Schneider Electric Paris Marathon...) in 2008 as Business Development Project Manager, and is now Marketing, Strategy and Business Development Director of the Company, managing a team of 30 professionals. On the strategy and business development side, Baptiste and his team added more than 40 events to the A.S.O. event portfolio over the last 7 years, with a large diversity of business models (acquisitions, joint ventures, fully owned creations....) and a wide international scope (10 + countries including France, Spain, Norway, Japan…). On the marketing side, Baptiste is mainly responsible for the brand management of the 70 ASO events, the creation of attractive and ROI oriented sponsorship packages for sponsors and public authorities, and the realisation of an extensive marketing research programme across all the sports of ASO.
